At the recent Tennis Tayside AGM the proposal, given below, to alter the format of the Summer Adult Doubles Leagues was carried by 11 votes to 10. This will be a one year trial with a further vote after the 2018 season.
“The Board propose that the format for the summer open leagues, that is, the Mens, Ladies and Henderson Vase competitions, is changed from the current six set format to a four set one, whereby a ranked pair would play two sets against their opposite number and one set against each of the other pairs. This will be for a trial period of 1 year. “
