Tennis Scotland wants to provide opportunities for all players to compete. The TS Open Tour is a new competition initiative aimed at providing competitive opportunities for all ages and standards of yellow ball players across Scotland. It will be a nationwide progressive tournament, allowing competitors to play at an appropriate level with the opportunity to progress further.
The TS Open Tour is made up of TS 300, TS 500 and TS 1000 events. Players will select their preferred TS 300 venue and after the closing date will be placed accordingly into their chosen TS 300 event or given direct acceptance into its linked TS 500 event or the TS 1000 depending on their rating and ranking. This will allow players to play others of a similar standard but also provide the opportunity for players to progress.
