Glenrothes Tennis Club has been operating for 3 years, without tennis courts. Initially the single tennis court at Leslie was used, but when the new sports centre, Michael Woods Leisure Centre, opened in July 2013, the club used its single tennis/multi-purpose court for weekly coaching. The club has managed to enter juniors in local social tournaments, as they are played at other clubs. The adults have also played in social tournaments, at other clubs, and in the Tayside Tennis Indoor Winter League. This summer the club is entering a team in the Henderson Vase League, and will need to play all their matches on an away basis.
The members are disadvantaged by not having courts locally for social and match play. Please help Glenrothes Tennis Club raise money through crowdfunding to put towards building courts in Glenrothes.
