North Angus Open 2018 – 29 June – 1 July (NSC18S0082)
Main venue was Montrose Tennis Club (with some events also at Arbroath Tennis Club). Events include U8, U9, U10, U12, U16 and Adults.
A record number of entries was received and the matches were played out in lovely tennis weather. Congratulations to all the winners and participants, and thanks to the Tournament Referee, Alan Russell, to Arbroath Lawn Tennis Club for hosting junior events, to Andy Baxter, Montrose Club President, for organising the tournament and tending the BBQ with Richard Henderson, and to John Stirling and Arbikie for the bar. Not forgetting the people who donated baking and helped in the kitchen all weekend, all the spectators for their support and to all the competitors for great tennis and sportsmanship.
